340B
The 340B Drug Pricing Program resulted from enactment of Public Law 102-585, the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992.

340B limits the cost of covered outpatient drugs to certain federal grantees, federally-qualified health center look-alikes, and qualified hospitals. On average, approved 340B Covered Entities have realized a 30 percent reduction of outpatient drug expenditures.

To help you navigate the world of 340B enrollment and compliance, Cardinal Health has established partnerships with the market's most innovative 340B software providers. These turn-key and easy–to–use solutions help address the unique requirements of disproportionate share hospitals, federally-qualified health centers, clinics and contract pharmacy relationships, in addition to providing powerful reporting and compliance features. In addition, Cardinal Health employs a 340B implementation staff who offer guidance during 340B program enrollment, advice regarding program requirements and management of technical integration with your 340B solution provider.

It is our ultimate goal to provide the tools to help you ensure compliance with 340B legislative guidelines and reduce drug costs, all while extending compassionate care into your local community.
